Course Types

We’ve got gift vouchers for all sorts of classes:

  • Pork Pie Making: Craft homemade pork pies using our 100-year-old pie press!
  • Italian Cooking: Try our ‘Taste of Sicily’ course, and make fresh pasta, focaccia, tortellini, cannoli, and tiramisu.
  • Perfect Pastries: Make some delicious pastries.
  • Bread Making: Knead some loaf? Our sourdough starter’s been aging to perfection.
  • Festive Baking: Christmas chutneys and comforting festive treats.

Course Details

We’re perched on a hill with stunning views of the Peak District—perfect for enjoying your morning cuppa. Just outside Penistone, not far from Sheffield, and with links to Leeds and Manchester, we’re easy to get to for group meet-ups.

Courses run from 10am to 2pm, costing £85 per person. Alternatively, you can buy a gift voucher for any value towards a course. Vouchers can be sent by post or email.

Got a group of 6 or more? We also do private parties on weekends any course, time, and date that suits. Prices range from £95 to £80 per person depending on numbers. This option is really popular for celebrating special occasions.

Hartingtons Cookery School

Come and join Jacqui Marsden make the fabulous Penistone Pork Pie on Sunday 29th March! Christmas Fair at Langsett Barn

FREE ENTRY Saturday 7th December  10am – 3pm at Langsett Barn (off A616), Langsett. There will be hot food, festive music and carol singing.  Penistone Pies & Puddings will be there with other stalls full of Christmas goodies & seasonal workshops.

Food Glorious Food an exciting new series starts on ITV Wednesday 27th February at 8pm presented by Carol Vordeman. Hope you tune in for the Yorkshire heat on 27th March held at the Great Yorkshire showground as Penistone Pies taking part in the competition!

Puppy News

Molly our Welsh Terrier had 5 puppies (2 boys & 3 girls) on Friday 1st February 2013. They are sired by Champion Saredon Jack the Hat and will be looking for loving homes in March. They will all be KC registered and ideal for show or companions. Please don’t hesitate to give me a call for more information. ALL PUPPIES SOLD TO LOVING HOMES!
